Today we walked towards Claiffe Heights, between Esthwaite and Windermere. Our starting point was Beatrix Potter's home, Hill Top, in Near Sawrey. We didn't have enough time for a circular walk so it was a 'there and back' walk to Wise Een Tarn.
Our route was fairly straightforward:
And finally a pot of coffee and a cake with stunning views overlooking Esthwaite in Sawrey House Hotel, next door to Hill Top.
