Wordsworth's To the Small Celandine

Today, we had a beautiful walk which started in Staveley and took us up into the hills. The sun was shining, there were butterflies and bees everywhere, and hiding amongst the rocks and trees, we came upon a celandine.

Pansies, lillies, kingcups, daisies,
Let them live upon their praises;
Long as there's a sun that sets,
Primroses will have their glory,
Long as there are violets,
They will have a place in story:
There is a flower that shall be mine,
'T is the little Celandine.
