Spring is always welcome, but this year the first day of Spring was even more welcome than usual. We had our first COVID vaccine. It seemed appropriate that this should happen as the hedgerows are staring to show green shoots; there are daffodils and primroses in the verges and the lambs are skipping in the fields. New life and new hope. It all feels very prophetic.
