March's reading has been very varied, quite a lot of crime fiction, but I've also really enjoyed a couple of natural history books, as well. I'm loving some of the recent natural history publications, combining literary works with the natural world.
I've started some new series: Amanda Cross's Kate Fansler books; Jan Karon's Mitford series and the first book in Elsie J Oxenham's Sussex series. They promise many happy hours of reading ahead. I'm always happy when I'm at the beginning of a series of books!
At the end of March we had a jaunt down to Sussex, so my current reading reflects many of the authors who lived in, or wrote about, many of the beautiful villages and towns we have recently visited.
