Castlerigg Stone Circle Posted by Chris on July 03, 2022 On our way back from a trip to Bassenthwaite we decided to stop off at Castlerigg Stone Circle. One of the most significant and complete in the country, it is also one of the oldest dating from about 5,000 years ago.
