Our recent visit to Dalemain and Rheged yielded lots of lovely stuff!
We visited Rheged for the Print Exhibition, but I left with an Indigowares jacket. I have a large collection of these colourful jackets and I absolutely love wearing them! I am delighted with the latest addition to my collection.
At Dalemain we bought some marmalade and chutney. Every year Dalemain hosts the Marmalade Awards and Festival which seeks to find the best marmalade in the world. As a result their shelves are full of a delicious, and unusual, selection of this tasty concoction.
In addition to the marmalade we also bought chutney, and most interesting of all, some marmalade fudge. The Toffee Shop in Penrith has teamed up with Dalemain Manison to create this delicious, sweet yet zingy marmalade fudge. So yummy!
We had a fabulous day out, exploring gardens and enjoying art, and we enjoyed taking home some souvenirs of our day.
