And then we discovered that there are occasional music performances at Yewfield and that dinner is included. First the main course, then some music, then dessert, then some more music. So we have an excuse to go.
On Sunday evening we headed to Yewfield to listen to Hatty Haynes on violin and Charlie Woof-Byrne on Yewfield’s Steinway piano, playing a programme including Brahms, Schubert, Clara Schumann and Lili Boulanger, interspersed with delicious vegetarian food.
We absolutely loved the evening and I’m sure we’ll be repeating the experience soon.
