We were at the Langdale Chase hotel recently, from where there is (unsurprisingly) a fantastic view of the Lankdale Pikes. The four peaks which make up the Langdale Pikes are Pavey Ark, Thunacar Knott, Pike of Stickle and Harrison Stickle and their distinctive shapes are very clearly visible from the terrace of the Langdale Chase, even on a grey day.
