Pot Fest at Hutton in the Forest

On Sunday we enjoyed our annual trip up to Hutton in the Forest for Pot Fest. We were joined by our pottery and ceramic loving friend, in what has become something of a tradition.

There was the usual selection of beautiful pottery and ceramics, with stallholders from all over the UK and Europe. We bought a couple of items, but all commented that the prices had increased significantly and that many of the pieces we liked, just felt too expensive. It's a shame that this is the case and I don't think we were alone in feeling like this, as most of the stallholders were complaining that they hadn't made many sales.

But, prices aside, we had a lovely few hours in the grounds of Hutton in the Forest, and a tasty lunch from one of their pop up cafés. The weather was perfect for browsing, only a few showers and not too hot.
