Morecambe has been depressed for a long time, ever since British seaside resorts started losing out to cheap European package holidays in the 1970s.
But recently Morecambe has seen something of a resurgence. Plans for significant investment by the Eden Project have injected optimism and on a fine summer evening the town has a definite buzz. Today there was a street food market - we picked up some Mexican dishes and enjoyed them while taking in the view.
