Today we popped up to Staveley to visit the Green Door Affordable Art Exhibition at the Roundhouse. We love this exhibition, there are lots of local artists and the painting, ceramics and textiles are all reasonably priced; no item is priced at more than £250. 
We purchased a small painting of Morecambe Bay and a couple of ceramic bowls. We could have bought an awful lot more!
As we were in Staveley, we decided to have lunch at Wilf's Café. Wilf's is one of our favourite cafés in the Lakes with a delicious vegetarian offering. It's so lovely to sit by the window watching the River Kent, as it flows swiftly from Kentmere to Kendal.
