Winter Snap in Grasmere November 22, 2025 As we left Ambleside the weather was decidedly wintery - so a visit to a bookshop was in order. We decided to head a few miles north to Sam Read’s in Grasmere, where everything looked beautifully frosty and there was already snow on the peaks.
