say it soft, but those days
after Christmas has gone
before New Year prods us
and we have to move on -
those quiet unseen days
of abandoned routine,
the self-quarantine days,
which exist in-between,
when nothing much happens
from sunrise to nightfall,
those are the days
which I love most of all.
