On our recent mini-break to Edinburgh we parked in the car park underneath St James Quarter, one of the city’s smartest shopping areas full of designer brands and cool bars and restaurants. As it was Christmas Eve we thought we’d have to queue to get in and spend ages finding a space.
We needn’t have worried. Christmas shopping has changed in recent years.
