We loved last year’s Immersive at Sizergh Castle so much that we had to return this year. After a filling meal in the café we set off around the castle and its grounds to discover this year’s son et lumière themes.
We were lucky with the weather. This December has been very wet indeed but the night we chose was dry - with a slight mist which added to the spooky atmosphere. Perfect!
We started inside the castle, decorated for Christmas, before moving outside to the main event. And all the time with calming, nature-inspired music playing gently from hidden loudspeakers all along the trail.
