We have been trying a few 'immersive' experiences over the past 18 months or so. Each one has been individual and, in particular, the settings have ranged from redundant churches to exhibition centres. But the huge sound and light immersive inside the country's largest cathedral was
So on a very wet early December evening we made our way to experience The Light Before Christmas: The Gift. Like all the other immersives we've been to, it took our breath away as we spent an hour or so being amazed. There was of course a Christmas theme (this is a cathedral in late November) but mostly the projectors created abstract patterns on the interior walls - particularly the 116 feet high nave.
Another unique, feelgood experience and a great antidote to the cold and wet outside.
