Today was a typical February Saturday: grey skies, very low cloud, and moderate rain which got heavier as the day went on.
We decided on a visit to Blackwell, an Arts and Crafts house overlooking Windermere. I love the details in the hand-crafted design of everyday items - door handles, fire surrounds, windows. Somehow the bad weather outside made it a perfect day to focus on these exquisite interior details.
