Haile Selassie in Bath

Haile Selassie is probably not the first person you think of when wandering around the fine houses and civic buildings in the Cotswold city of Bath.

Regarded as God incarnate by followers of Rastafarian beliefs, he was Emporor of Ethiopia from 1930 to 1974, when he was deposed. However he spent much of his reign in exile and - surprisingly - five years of this was in the city of Bath.
