Dalemain Easter Tuesday

Today was the first truly warm day of Spring - 19 degrees - which was perfect for our planned trip to Dalemain country house. Our main purpose was to look around the fine gardens, but we also had a bite of lunch and (while no-one was looking) picked some wild garlic which grows in abundance in the grounds.

The gardens are divided into rooms and there were signs of Spring everywhere.



















Next, home and a quick whizz to turn the wild garlic into a very tasty pesto. Perfect!
