Over the Easter weekend we had a trip up to Dalemain. We explored the gardens, had some lunch, bought some marmalade and….picked some wild garlic. Wild garlic grows in profusion by the river on the estate and it is absolutely delicious. I was particularly keen to try a new recipe for wild garlic and cheese scones that I had spotted in a new baking book.
They were really tasty! We’ll definitely be seeking out more wild garlic and some new recipes.
