On our way to York we stopped off at East Riddlesden Hall, a 17th century manor house on the outskirts of Keighley. The quirky mix of building styles is a reflection of the hall’s long and chequered history which left it in a poor state and in the care of the National Trust.
The weather was perfect so we were able to enjoy the gardens as well as the hall itself.
