We decided to have a weekend up in the Borders, mainly to escape the current heat, but also to visit Floors Castle and Main Street Trading. We booked a night at Dryburgh Abbey Hotel and planned a meal at Hunters Stables.
Main Street Trading is one of our favourite bookshops, we also love the deli and homewares. We spent a very happy couple of hours mooching around and left with a satisfying pile of books. We love the selection of books at Main Street and always find something new and interesting. We weren't disappointed on this occasion!
After a very satisfying few hours we relaxed by the River Tweed, in the grounds of Dryburgh Abbey, before heading out for a delicious pizza at Hunters Stables.
A perfect weekend.
