The Buck Moon rises on 29th July in the sign of Capricorn. Named thus by the Native American tribes as male deer start growing antlers now at a very fast pace. This full moon is also known as the Thunder Moon due to the storms of July.
We had a wonderful glimpse of the almost full moon over Lake Windermere earlier in the week, but now it's rather cloudy, so we don't think we'll be seeing the full moon which is such a shame.
