During our trip to the Scottish Borders we visited the beautiful walled gardens at Floors Castle - an estate house rather than a fortress. Part of our reason for the trip north was to escape the worst of the latest heatwave and we weren’t disappointed: the temperature dipped to 16 degrees and there was even some drizzle! For our garden visit was glorious and perfect for enjoying all the colourful flowers.
