On Saturday we bought and foraged for a gorgeous mix of nature's bounty!
Whilst doing a spot of food shopping in Sizergh Barn, I spotted some dahlias for sale. Dahlias are my absolute favourite flower; they are just so happy and jolly!
Next we foraged for blackberries close to Sizergh Castle, and picked a good amount. I'm planning to make a blackberry and apple crumble.
Finally, driving through the Lyth Valley we came across a farm selling damsons. Chris will probably make damson gin with these damsons, but we might go back and get some more for damson cobbler.
