The final stage of our bookish days was the launch of Miranda Mills' new book The Cosy Commonplace Book at The Little Ripon Bookshop, on Friday afternoon.
It was a lovely afternoon with Miranda and Gill, the bookshop owner, discussing the literary inspirations behind the book, as well as the joys of keeping a Commonplace Book.
Miranda Mills is a great speaker, she's really passionate about books and, I guess it helps that on a venn diagram of reading, we share over 90% of book interests!
I did enjoy the afternoon. To add to the pleasure Gill baked some delicious treats from Miranda's new book, including Apple and Hazelnut Cake and Oatmeal Cookies. Absolutely yummy.
