On Friday, after meeting up with friends in Whalley, we decided to visit Melt, near Waddington. We love Melt candles and decided that visiting the main shop was a really good idea, as we would be able to try out all of the scents and make a selection of candles for the cosy season.
As well as the main Gift Shop there is also the Chandlery and Reading Room. Here, all the handmade luxury scented candles are thoughtfully displayed around a central fragrance bar, inviting us to explore each scent.
There's even the opportunity to sink into a cosy chair with a complimentary glass of wine and one of their carefully chosen books. From seasonal tales to timeless favourites, the reading selection is there to encourage slow, mindful moments – the perfect match for Melt candles.
The Melt showroom was absolutely gorgeous and we enjoyed making a selection of candles and melts as well as a seasonal book and a few other treats.
This was such a lovely place to visit and we'll definitely be back soon.
