As the end of summer approaches, gardens and hedgerows are bursting with fruit. This year seems to have been a good one. We've been spotting fruits, berries, herbs and vegetables - in Normandy and nearer home - as the time for harvest approaches.
There were plenty of gorgeous examples in the
Jardin Ethnobotanique, next to the
Tour de Bonvouloir which we visited.
